GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1: Select the Course you want to undertake
STEP 2: Make Payment
- Once you identify the type of training you want to undertake you proceed to purchase it by clicking on the button buy, ensure the M-Pesa number that you entered has the require funds.
- A pop-up message will be sent directly to your Mpesa Number that you entered for you to input your M-Pesa Pin for transaction to be completed.
STEP 3: Begin your course
- Once transaction is completed you immediately get access to all modules in that particular course for 60 days
STEP 4: Attempt an evaluation test
- Once you are through with the modules before expiry of 60 days, attempt an evaluation test, this evaluation is meant to assess whether objectives of the training have been achieved which is conducted in form of simple multiple choice questions.
- One is expected to get 50% and above in order to get a certificate. In the event that one does not get the 50% in first attempt, then he/she will be able to see a transcript on performance whereby he/she can be able to see questions that were answered correctly and those that were incorrectly answered. Thereafter one is given second and third chance to attempt.
STEP 5: Certification
- Once you have successfully passed the evaluation test, you can download your certificate.
- If you need a hard copy certificate just click request certificate or email us at training@fedan.co.ke and your certificate will be prepared within 3 days at a fee of Kshs 500.00 and you can organize to collect it from our offices. Practicals can be booked to be delivered at either at location or at our facility in Nairobi.

COURSE DESCRIPTION
Fire disasters are a common occurrence in cities across the world more so in developing Countries which is attributed to the increased development interactions in cities. In Kenya, fires have contributed to the toll of manmade disasters with varying loss of property and life. Various sectors of economy continues to experience fire incidences every year. Training your staff, family on fire safety is very critical in reducing the risk to the lowest level.
This basic fire safety training course was designed by FEDAN FIRE SOLUTIONS LTD in accordance with The Occupational Safety and Health Act, 2007 (OSHA) and the factories and other places of work act (Fire Risk Reduction Rules 2007/Legal Notice No. 59 of 2007/Kenya Subsidiary Legislation, 2007). Fire safety training is the best investment you can make in your company. Many organizations and individuals have suffered from fire incidences which could not have been the case if employees or had valuable knowledge and skills to stop fire early enough before becoming full-blown fire. This training has been simplified to promote retention of the learnt knowledge and skills in managing fire disasters.
OBJECTIVES OF THIS COURSE
The objective of this Course is to equip individuals at workplace and homes with necessary skills to manage fire risk before they actually occur, identification of conditions capable of causing fire, understanding when, what and how to use a fire extinguisher, respond appropriately to fire emergencies at workplace, follow fire evacuation plan, adequately implement fire emergency procedures. This training also seeks to provide delegates with simple and clear individual strategies for preparing for and responding to fire incident.
