Fire Safety Engineering Design / Review Consultant in Kenya
New facilities and renovation projects need to be designed to incorporate efficient, cost effective, passive and automatic fire protection systems. These systems are effective in detecting, containing, and controlling and/or extinguishing a fire event in the early stages. Fire protection engineers must be involved in all aspects of the design in order to ensure a reasonable degree of protection of human life from fire and the products of combustion as well as to reduce the potential loss from fire (i.e., real and personal property, information, organizational operations). Planning for fire protection in/around a building involves knowing the four sources of fire. At FEDAN, our skilled engineer’s conducts fire safety design to buildings which can be incorporated in integrated building management system (IBMS) USING modern technology.
At FEDAN we conduct fire safety design review for our clients, sometimes it may be necessary to design/develop an alternative fire protection system or interface than that traditionally adopted by the Building Code of Kenya. Fire-Engineered (Alternative) Solutions should be reviewed by an independent group in order to provide assurance that all the conditions of the design criteria have been met. In many cases, Building Surveyors also suggest that Fire-Engineered (Alternative) Solutions go through a ‘peer’ review process by an independent group.
We help our clients to implement appropriate and cost-effective controls to protect their information assets against perceived threats, and provide evidence that they are operating as expected. We help organizations ensure that the appropriate technical, physical and procedural controls are built into their IT lifecycle and are effective across the range of services they offer.
